  1. All vital ingredients. I tend to do my writing on my iPhone or on my laptop, but I inevitably end up picking up a notebook along the way and proceeding to write very little in it.

  2. Haha I know. There's just something about having a notebook as a keepsake of your journey that tops any iphone/laptop. I actually travelled without a phone as well as any sort of laptop (I did have an ipod with safari I guess...) it was so liberating!

  3. Backpack, so obvious but so often forgotten on the travel list!

  4. Ha yeah! You'd be pretty lost without one...

  5. I love a good old fashioned scrap book. I've tried doing similar things on my iPad or phone but it isn't the same. You need to get messy with cutting and glueing!

  6. Absolutely! When you're curled up in bed feeling nostalgic, do you want to pull out your iPad or a good old-fashioned book? I know which I prefer, but then I'm a bit of a technophobe :S Still have a PAYG phone (which I didn't use abroad) and a 6 year old laptop!
